When it comes to doing the right thing as a parent, there is a lot of information and advice out there. However, let's be honest, some if it is more helpful than others!
Here at Illuminate-Ed, I know that being a parent of a child with additional needs is hard work! I know you love your children and you're trying your best to make things fall into place for them. But the fact is, the usual strategies, often passed down through the family, or picked up through friends or social media, often just don't work well for children with additional needs. Not necessarily because they're inherently wrong... or because you're 'doing it wrong'. But just because the strategies are often a poor fit for the particular needs of our children. So, when things aren't going quite to plan, or precisely how we imagined them, what should we do? Well, don't worry - I'm here to help. Please feel free to dive into these resources which are all based on reliable research and advice from professionals 'in the know'.
