Professional background & experience

A highly respected and experienced EP, I have experience as both a main-grade and senior practitioner in Local Authority practice. Within those roles I have worked in:

  • all areas of need specified in the SEND Code of Practice

  • pre-school, primary, secondary and post-16 settings

  • mainstream, specialist, PRUs and alternative education settings 

  • state-maintained, academy and independent settings.

That work has included both statutory and non-statutory work, including work at the individual, group and whole school levels as well as a mix of assessment, intervention and training.

 

I have lots of experience working in multi-agency forums and actively embrace this way of working.​
